If you choose to meet, we point you to the nearest police safe-exchange zone. You arrange it; you decide.
How the Shield is earned
The Shield is awarded by objective rule, not opinion. A member qualifies by meeting thresholds such as:
- A minimum number of completed and approved sales.
- A minimum average rating from the people they dealt with.
- Verified email, phone, and identity.
It applies to both sellers and buyers, so a seller can vet a buyer's Shield before replying. We may grant, withhold, or revoke a Shield at our discretion.
What the Shield is not
The Shield confirms a track record. It is not a guarantee of safety, honesty, identity, or that any transaction or meeting will be safe or successful. A member may hold a Shield and still act badly — treat it as one data point, not a promise. Always follow our safe-meet guidance.
