Post for me

1. Install the extension (one time). 2. Sign in to the marketplace. 3. Click Post for me. 4. Review and press Post.

Post for me fills in your listing on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Nextdoor, eBay, OfferUp and Kijiji, in your own browser. One-time setup: install the ZaZooomIt Poster extension and sign in to each marketplace. You press Post.

OfferUp needs its mobile app to post; it has not been seen working from a computer.

Connect your browser

  1. Use Google Chrome on a computer. Phones and tablets cannot run the extension.
  2. Install the ZaZooomIt Poster extension. Not connected
    1. Download the extension and unzip it.
    2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode (top right).
    3. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
    4. Come back to this page and reload it.
  3. Stay signed in to ZaZooomIt in this browser. The extension reads your listings with the sign-in you already have here.
  4. Sign in to each marketplace once. Click Check. The marketplace opens in a new tab; sign in there if it asks, then come back and click Check again.

Post a listing

  1. Open My Listings and click the listing.
  2. Scroll to Post for me.
  3. Click Post for me next to the marketplace you want.
  4. The marketplace opens in a new tab and the form fills in. A small ZaZooomIt panel in the corner shows each field as it goes in.
  5. Check the listing, then press the marketplace's own Post button.
  6. Come back to ZaZooomIt. The marketplace shows Posted ✓ with a link to your post. If the link is missing, click Add the link to your post and paste it.

Post a garage sale

  1. Click the person icon at the top right, then My garage sales.
  2. Click Edit sale.
  3. Scroll to Post for me and click it next to a marketplace.
  4. The sale's title, description and photos fill in. Add a price if the marketplace asks for one, then press its Post button.

When it sells, or you take it down

  1. On ZaZooomIt, mark the listing sold or remove it from My Listings.
  2. Open each Posted ✓ link and take the post down on that marketplace. ZaZooomIt cannot remove a post on another site.
  3. Click Remove next to Posted ✓ to clear the mark.

What it does and does not do

  • It fills one listing per click. Nothing is filled or posted in bulk or in the background.
  • Nothing is posted from ZaZooomIt's servers. Your own browser does the work, signed in as you.
  • ZaZooomIt never sees or stores a marketplace password.
  • It never presses Post. You do.
  • Each marketplace picks some things itself, such as the category on eBay, Craigslist and Kijiji. The panel tells you what to check.

If something does not fill in

  • Not connected: reload this page. If the extension line above still says Not connected, install it again.
  • The marketplace asks you to sign in: sign in, then click Post for me again.
  • A field is empty: the panel names the field it could not find. Type that one in by hand.
  • Photos did not go in: add them by hand from the listing's photos.
